Allan Drive – Parking Poll

City staff have received a request to prohibit parking on one side of Allan Drive. It has been submitted that parking on both sides of the street inhibits traffic flow.

Staff reviewed the request and are supportive of prohibiting parking on the east side (even numbered side) of the street. Parking would still be permitted on the west side (odd numbered side) of the street. The parking prohibition would also result in the all the parking being removed from within the bulb of the cul-de-sac. A diagram showing the proposed parking prohibition is below (red line on the plan).

In order to gauge the level of support for the proposal, we are requesting that you complete the short survey below before May 30, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.

Implementation of the parking prohibition will only be considered if the majority of survey respondents are in favour of the proposal. If the majority of respondents are opposed to the proposal, or there is insufficient feedback, no action will be taken, and the parking will remain as is.
