Consultation has concluded
City staff received a request to remove the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday, School Days Only (SDO) parking restrictions on Brucedale Avenue. It has been submitted that these restrictions are no longer required. If implemented, parking would be permitted at all times.
The City is supportive of removing the SDO restrictions, however, the City is not supportive of permitting dual-side parking, at all times, due to the overall width of the street. As such, it’s being proposed that parking be permitted at all times on the south side of the street (odd-numbered side) and that parking be prohibited at all times on the north side of the street (even-numbered side).
Implementation of the parking prohibition will only be considered if the majority of survey respondents are in favour of the proposal. If the majority of respondents are opposed to the proposal, or there is insufficient feedback, no action will be taken, and the parking will remain as is.
Residents will be notified if the parking prohibition is approved. No notification will be sent if the parking is to remain as is.
Please complete the short survey below by 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2023.
