Welcome to the Community Climate Action Survey.

The City is looking to collect more information on what residents are doing in their day-to-day lives that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and be more resilient to a changing climate.

There are three parts to this survey.

  • In the first section, there are a series of questions on who is completing the survey and priorities related to climate change.

  • The second section is centred on what actions you (or your household) are currently doing, what actions you are most likely to act on in the short term and learn more about how the City could help you take further action.

  • The third part is focused on the level of support for the new community-wide greenhouse gas target and City-led initiatives.

This survey is expected to take you approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Your feedback will help the City deepen our insights on the reasons and ways people are taking action to be more environmentally friendly and act on climate change. It will also provide information regarding improvements that can be made to help residents of St. Catharines.

We will share the results after to help showcase all the good things that the community is already doing and highlight areas where there is room for improvement to promote #OurGreenSTC. Please check back to this page for a summary of the results from survey participants once completed. Anticipated Spring 2024.

Please note, you must be registered to complete the survey which will be active until April 8, 2024.

Thank you for your participation!
